Some were campaigning to the very end: At the southwest corner of Washington Square Park and just a few hours before the polls open on Tuesday, November 3 I came across this art installation consisting of about a hundred paper bags colorfully decorated with slogans and facts against Donald Trump and in favor of Joe Biden. The artist gave me his OK to photograph him but he didn’t want to take off his mask or give me his name. That’s a pity because I think he was talented. I understand and respect that he wanted to keep some mystery around his project, which I saw was getting a lot of attention from park goers this late Monday afternoon, despite the cool weather.
Let’s hope the artist’s effort was not in a vain and that Donald Trump will be voted out of the White House.
